This module is designed for managers, leaders, team leads and professionals who need to handle difficult workplace conversations with greater clarity and confidence. It opens with an uncomfortable truth: almost every workplace problem can become smaller through one conversation, yet the conversation is often the one we avoid or handle poorly. You will learn how to tell the truth in a way that can be heard, ask better questions that build capability, and move someone who disagrees without damaging the relationship.

It is self-aced and built around three core sections with eight practical exercises. The first section focuses on giving effective feedback. The second develops coaching, active listening and better questioning. The third explores disagreement, perspective-taking and finding the interests beneath different positions. Throughout, you will apply the learning to one real, unresolved conversation you need to have.

The programme closes with five real-world case studies showing how small changes in communication can influence whether information is heard, understood and acted upon. You will also complete a pre/post survey measure to track changes and plan three real conversations to put the learning into practice.

Includes pre/post survey measures to track changes, evidence-based content delivered in 10 to 20 minute pieces, activities to develop, embed and apply learning, trained speaking AI coach support, and a quiz providing a Certificate of Completion as evidence to claim CPD.
