Welcome to this practical Cultural Integration Program, designed to help leaders navigate one of the most important and often overlooked challenges in mergers, acquisitions, restructures, and organisational change: bringing people and cultures together successfully.
Across six sections, you’ll explore how to assess cultural differences, choose the right integration model, build a 12-month implementation roadmap, establish clear accountability, manage resistance, communicate through uncertainty, develop culture champions, and embed a new culture that people can genuinely own.
You’ll work through practical frameworks, research-informed models, exercises, diagnostic tools, and real-world implementation approaches. From creating a Culture Similarity and Difference Map and selecting between Assimilation, Preservation, Transformation, and Best of Both, to developing a Culture Code, RACI accountability matrix, communication playbook, and 90-day quick-win plan, each part of the program is designed to help you move from theory into action.
You’ll also explore the human side of integration, including psychological safety, employee resistance, change responses, leadership behaviour, communication, and the role of trusted culture champions in embedding change at team level.
By the end of the program, you’ll have a clearer understanding of where cultural risks exist, what needs to happen first, who needs to own it, and how to turn cultural integration from an informal aspiration into a structured and measurable business priority.
The program takes approximately 90 minutes to two hours to complete, including exercises and reflection activities, and is designed to be completed in bite-sized sessions at your own pace.
Whether you are preparing for a merger or acquisition, leading a major restructure, supporting organisational change, or responsible for people and culture during integration, this program provides practical tools and a structured approach to help you lead the process with greater clarity and confidence.
I hope you find the program valuable and that it gives you practical ideas you can take directly into your organisation.
