Welcome!

Resilience is one of the most studied topics in human performance psychology and one of the most misunderstood. This fully evidence-based program dismantles the common myths, builds a shared understanding of what resilience actually is, and equips you with practical tools you can put to use immediately.

Grounded in neuroscience and performance psychology rather than "being positive," the course moves through nine sections: an introduction to the science and key characteristics of resilience; your inner world (self-awareness, emotional intelligence, growth mindset, optimism, and coping strategies); analytical case studies of figures such as Frankl, Malala, Oprah, Mandela and Ardern; and resilience across people and teams, organisations and leadership, and the body and whole person before closing with measurement tools, long-term strategies, and your own personal resilience plan.

Every concept is paired with a corresponding tool, exercise, or habit, and each section ends with a short exercise to embed the learning. Resilience is explored at the individual, team, and organisational levels, with an emphasis throughout on practices you can genuinely use.
